The Center for Preventive Medicine has been designed for the comfort and convenience of patients and with access to the latest technology in diagnosing conditions that can lead to illness. The offices are quiet, uncrowded, graciously appointed, and attended by a professional staff that focuses on the well-being of patients.
The on-site laboratory has the same blood and urine analyzers that are used in hospitals and large reference laboratories. Routine testing for all Cholesterol subsets; for Diabetes management with Glycolated Hemoglobin; the latest ideas in measuring arterial inflammation with CRP; and the detection of prostate cancer with PSA are just a few of the routine laboratory analyses that are performed. The well-trained and experienced technicians can process specimens on demand and quickly, allowing the physicians and dieticians to help patients make informed decisions about their progress toward good health.
The Center for Preventive Medicine partners with the conveniently located Northside/Atlanta Imaging to perform Total Body Scans, including coronary artery calcium scores, as well as evaluations of the Lungs, Liver, Kidneys and other vital organs. Accredited by the American College of Radiology, Northside/Atlanta Imaging offers high quality imaging with a demonstrated commitment for patient care and safety.
